Is it really November already?!?

So, yeah, it’s been a minute or two since we updated y’all with a blog post. Where has the time gone? These days it seems like everytime we blink another week goes by.

Our (jerk) marketing person is freaking out daily at us about our crappy non-existent contribution to the marketing effort. Are we lazy or crazy buzy making amazing new things? We’ll keep you guessing about that…. For now here’s some updates. We’ll try our best not to sound too whiney.

TEC Award Nomination!

Somehow & amazingly NiftyBUNDLE got nominated for a NAMM TEC Award. We could act all smug and pretend we’re not tickled pink (or some other color of your choice) but we won’t. It’s super cool and a huge honor to be listed alongside some very legendary nominees. Anyway, you can learn more about NAMM TEC and see our nomination here.

BigEARS:

Rarely does a day go by without someone contacting us about BigEARS. The fact is that we’ve had all sorts of issues getting these lovely woody friends for your NiftyCASES. First we had supplier issues with pricing, then we discover that our new supplier’s wood won’t comply with European REACH requirements. Long story short, we’ve got it all sorted now and expect these either in December or January. We know, it’s ludicrous, we want them now too. We’re pushing hard to get them sooner, but all things seem to be taking longer these days.

We’ll let you know as soon as we get them!

NiftyBUNDLES & NiftyCASES:

So far this year we’ve had a hard time getting NiftyCASE and NiftyBUNDLE made in the quatities we’ve needed. Between supply chain issues and labor shortages at our factory, we’ve only gotten about 50% of what we have on order. As a result, we seem to go out of stock as soon as we get more in. (We’ve even had a shippment of 150 go missing for a month!) 2020 has been having its fun with us too! :(

As of today (November 19, 2020) we have a nice big shipment due into our North American warehouse on November 30. We hope to get those out to North American retailers by the end of the first week of December.

Our European warehouse should be restocked sometime in December. We don’t have a clear idea of when they will arrive yet. We’ll let everyone know once we know.

In conclusion..

There’s not a ton else that we’re ready to talk about at the moment. Perhaps we’ll see if we can coax our Hairy Hands demo guy out of his cave to do some video snippets for our IG stream. Those are always fun.. In the meantime, if you’re making some cool stuff with our stuff, hit us up we’d love to see & hear!
